  • R22 Discovery Flights – $195

    Great for first-timers and even rated pilots who want to try out the Robinson R22 and our flight school.

    *Note: The maximum seat weight is 240 lb. Students at/near the maximum seat weight have the option to take our R44 Discovery Flight if weight and balance prevents R22 flight.

    R44 Discovery Flights – $310

    Great for first-timers and even rated pilots who want to try out the Robinson R44 and our top notch flight school. The R44 is a four place aircraft. It is a more versatile and faster helicopter, capable of carrying larger passengers and more overall weight than the R22. It even outruns the popular Bell Jet Ranger! This is the best option for students near or above 200 lbs.

  • Private Pilot License

    FAA Requirements:

    • Obtain an FAA medical certificate
    • Pass an FAA written examination
    • Pass an FAA oral and flight test
    • Obtain 40 hours of flight time to include 10 hours of solo

    Private Pilot Add-on

    FAA Requirements:

    • Possess a valid FAA medical certificate
    • Pass an FAA oral and flight test
    • Obtain at least 40 total hours of flight time (any aircraft)
    • Obtain at least 20 hours dual instruction (to comply with SFAR 73 to FAR Part 61)
    • Obtain at least 10 hours solo in a helicopter (including some specifics)
  • Instrument Rating | Helicopter

    FAA Requirements:

    • Obtain an FAA medical certificate
    • Pass an FAA written examination
    • an FAA oral and flight test
    • Obtain 40 hours of IFR or simulated IFR flight time to include 15 hours of dual instruction
    • Obtain 50 hours cross-country time as PIC

    Instrument Rating | Heli Add-on

    FAA Requirements:

    • 15 hours dual instruction in helicopter
  • Commercial Rating | Helicopter

    FAA Requirements:

    • Hold a helicopter private license
    • Hold a valid FAA medical certificate
    • Pass an FAA oral and flight test
    • 5 hours of IFR or simulated IFR in helicopters
    • 150 hours of flight time
    • 100 hours of PIC
    • 35 hours of PIC in helicopters
  • Certified Flight Instructor | Helicopter

    FAA Requirements:

    • Hold a helicopter Commercial license
    • Hold a valid FAA medical certificate
    • Pass an FAA written exams
    • Pass an FAA oral and flight test
    • Obtain 15 hours of flight time
  • Helicopter Instrument Flight Instructor | Helicopter

    FAA Requirements:

    • Hold a helicopter Commercial Certificate with Instrument
    • Hold a valid FAA Medical Certificate
    • Pass Written Exam(s)
    • Receive sufficient ground instruction to proficiency
    • Pass FAA Oral and Practical Exam
    • 15 hours dual instruction
  • 141 Courses / Advanced Courses

    A 141 course is an FAA approved courses that is built for people who are looking for a more structured curriculum. These courses have reduced hours from the normal FAA requirements and provide a more career oriented training. We offer Private and Instrument at the reduced 141 rates as well as Private and Instrument add-ons. Other courses were built to provide advanced training that wouldn’t normally be taught during a normal certification course.
